My 3 Favorite Smoothie Cookbooks

Every year I try to start the new year with having a few more smoothies and healthier meals to counteract everything I have devoured over the Christmas holidays. I don’t really diet much but I do like to follow the 80/20 rule and have found smoothies to be a great way to stick to it.

There are so many smoothie cookbooks out now that it can be a little overwhelming. Below are my top three that I am always reaching for and that I love.

1. The Body Reset Diet Cookbook
About five years ago I stumbled on The Body Reset Diet book and tried it. I had great success with it and loved all the smoothies so much that I began looking for more recipes. The author, Harley Pasternak, also wrote The Body Reset Diet Cookbook. Once I got my copy of it, I immediately started trying the recipes in it. It is chocked full of recipes to make delicious smoothies and more. It is a go to in my house. Click here to check out my full review of The Body Reset Diet Cookbook

2. Smoothie Project
A few years ago when I was living in New York City I got to attend an event with Catherine McCord. She was debuting her new cookbook, Smoothie Project. After getting to try some of the smoothies, I was immediately hooked. I took the book home and started trying recipes right away. All of the recipes are easy to follow and she offers great way to increase the nutritional value of your smoothie, which is something that I tend to struggle with. To read my full review of Smoothie Project click here

Cover of The Blender Girl Cookbook
3. The Blender Girl
When I first got my Vitamix The Blender Girl was the first cookbook I bought to go with it. I loved how easy the recipes are to follow and they were all delicious. The Blender Girl is a must own cookbook if you want to take full advantage of your blender.

If you haven’t had a chance to check out these cookbooks yet, I would put them on your reading list. They make a great addition to your cookbook shelf and your life.

Do you own a blender? If so do you love to make smoothies as much as I do? What smoothie cookbooks are your favorite?
