5.25ozwater (you can use the Campbell's Condensed French Onion Soup can and measure out 1/2 a can of water, which is the same amount)
1 tbspsalted butter
1jarmushrooms, sliced (6 oz.)drained (you can also use canned mushrooms)
Instructions
Heat a large skillet (that has a cover) on medium heat. You can also use a large pot that has a cover).
Sauté the rice in the butter until lightly toasted (about a minute or two). Stir the rice around being careful not to it burn.
Add the can of Campbell's Condensed French Onion Soup, 1/2 can of water, and the mushrooms. Stir to combine.
Cover and simmer the rice on low heat for approximately 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. It is done when most of the liquid in the pan has disappeared.
Store leftovers in an airtight container, reheating on the stove or in the microwave when ready to enjoy.
