I haven’t made baked doughnuts before and am glad I took a chance with these. The recipe calls for buttermilk, however, I somehow forgot to put it on my grocery list. I did remember seeing on Pinterest a way you can make buttermilk at home, luckily it worked.Â
The doughnuts came out light and fluffy and they were delicious. I love the fact that the recipe only makes six doughnuts which makes it less likely I will eat an entire dozen!
