Cook Your Way Through Music City: Nashville Cooking Classes

    March 18, 2026 / No Comments

Have you ever tried a cooking class? I believe that no matter what your experience level is that everyone can benefit or just have fun in a cooking class. I plan to spend some time over the remainder of the year testing out a bunch of these Nashville cooking classes to see which ones are…

Cookbook By: David Nayfeldwith Joshua David Stein “I want it to help you answer the question of what’s for dinner-and what’s for breaks, and what’s for lunch; a response to every Daddy, I’m hungry. I need a snack,” David Nayfeld, Dad, What’s For Dinner?. I know that most of us at some point in our lives struggle with the question what’s for dinner and when I saw this cookbook I wanted to see what answers it included.  This cookbook is a great resource guide for those struggling with figuring out what to cook night after night. Most of the recipes serve four and include notes on storage, reuse and leftovers. My favorite feature…

  • Have you seen the original Ghostbusters movie?

“Who you gonna call? Ghostbusters!” Growing up in the 80s Ghostbusters felt like a way of life. I stumbled upon Ghostbusters: The Official Cookbook a few weeks ago and it brought back so many childhood memories I immediately put it in the cart! This cookbook covers both the original movie and the recent one. Who can resist the fun recipes such as The Gatekeeper’s Strawberry Similarity, That’s A Big Twinkie, Dana’s Demon Eggs, and Petty Cash Egg Rolls? I know the first thing I’m going to make is That’s A Big Twinkie.

Unfortunately we have sad news that two are closing soon. @coquus_bookstore is closing at the end of February and @_archestratus_ is closing on April 26, 2026. They will be missed. I really wish we had a cookbook store close to me. Since we don't I guess I will need to take a road trip soon and start visiting all of these cookbook stores. Have you seen the original Ghostbusters movie? Welcome to @mykitchenlit! ✨ I’m a cookbook collector with 250+ titles and a love for cooking, baking, and foodie adventures. Here you’ll find honest reviews, curated recommendations, and kitchen inspiration for every level. 🍴 Let’s savor every recipe together! #ghostbustersmovie #KitchenLit #CookbookLookThrough
