“You will begin making these meals because you want to lose weight, but you will continue making these meals because they’re delicious and satisfying. It’s all about the recipes,” Harley Pasternak, MSc. Harley Pasternak is also a celebrity trainer to clients including: Adam Levine and Jordana Brewster.

A few years ago I tried The Body Reset Diet (a new edition of this book is releasing today on Amazon click here to purchase*). I was eating way too much junk food and needed to get my eating back under control. I normally follow the 80/20 rule of eating healthy 80% of the time and 20% having whatever I want, however it had become more like 80% sugar and 20% healthy. The Body Reset Diet allowed me to kick my sugar habit with yummy smoothies and great recipes. I didn’t even have any headaches from the candy withdrawal. Today I still find myself making these smoothies and recipes. The Body Reset Diet Cookbook offers more of Harley’s really delicious and filling recipes.

Roasted Tomato and Mushroom Scramble

Two of my favorite things to eat are in this recipe: eggs and mushrooms. I love a good scramble but haven’t tried an all egg white one before. I separated out yolks and whites for this but next time I will pick up a carton of egg whites from the grocery store.

By incorporating the roasted veggies you don’t even miss the egg yolk. I loved this and will definitely make it again.

BBQ Chicken Wrap

The BBQ chicken wrap is a go to recipe for me and it is delicious. I do make a couple of changes to the recipe: I use a pita shell (instead of a tortilla) and canned corn when fresh corn isn’t in season. The wrap is quick and easy to make. You can use store bought BBQ sauce or make your own – I use one I make from Cooking Light Complete Cookbook (cookbook review coming soon).

The BBQ chicken wrap is a great lunch or dinner. Also a great way to use up any leftover chicken.

I love to share the cookbooks that make my life better and The Body Reset Diet Cookbook is one of those cookbooks. I don’t promote one specific type of eating plan for anyone but I do find that this cookbook offers a ton of great recipes from scrambles to wraps to smoothies for anyone to try. Let me know which recipe is your favorite.
