5 Tips for Healthier Eating
I love to cook and eat. In my personal life I try to follow the 80/20 rule of eating healthy 80% of the time and having whatever I want 20% of the time. Over the years I have learned many tips and tricks that have helped me eat healthier. Below are five of my tips for healthier eating.
1. Meal Plan
One of the best ways I have found to incorporate healthier meals is to meal plan. When I have a meal plan I am less likely to order delivery or grab take out. Check out my full post about meal planning here.
2. Meal Prep
A great way to ensure that you are eating healthier is to make your choices easier by prepping your meals ahead of time. I love to make a bunch of smoothie packs at once and freeze them. They make it so quick and easy to make a smoothie in the morning.
3. Order Groceries for Pickup or Delivery
Sometimes when I go to the grocery store I find myself buying things I don’t really need because they look yummy. Ordering groceries can be a big help in stopping impulse buying.

4. Keep Less Junk Food at Home
I have a big sweet tooth and love to have something in the house to satisfy my cravings. Over the years though I have learned if I have too many sweet things I will eat too much sugar, so now I try to limit what I keep on hand. If I am really craving something I can run out to the store to get it instead of mindlessly snacking.
I’m not sure about you but I feel much better when I workout on a regular basis. When sticking to a regular workout routine I find that I want healthier foods and crave less sweets.
